Yay for wedding dress accessories!

Among the dozens of things that have been delivered to the house in the last month, was my custom bolero that landed at the door today. I was so excited to see that baby and try it on!
I ordered the bolero from Etsy seller maryandangelika it is the Paris Romance bolero made to fit my measurements, with detachable flowers (I will leave them off for the wedding, and add them back to hopefully wear it later).

I promise, I have a lot more stuff on the go, and it will all be coming soon!

Welcome to my humble blog, and hello!

I am not exactly sure what inspired me to start a blog, and who knows if anyone but me will ever read it. I have never been a big journaller, or anything like that. If someone does stumble across the blog however, it might help them out if I let them know a little about me and the ramblings that you will find in the blog.

I am a 26 year old registered nurse, who just moved from a big city of over 1 million to a small city of 70 thousand. It is a big adjustment, and I have been steadily muddling my way through. I have worked as an NICU nurse since I finished school, it is amazing, stressful, joyful, and challenging (sometimes all at once). I am also adjusting to smaller city nursing, it is a whole different world to me!

My fiance is a 31 year old Computer engineering technologist. His job is the reason we relocated to a smaller city - he was offered a job with a defence contractor that offered him all that he was looking for, and I totally support him.

We also share our home with a 3 1/2 year old Newfoundland dog, Charlie, and a 5 year old cat Mikka who are nothing if not entertaining.

Without further ado - Here is a sneak peek at myself, my fiance, and the pooch (from our engagement pics done in December)
